Where AI Works is a thought-provoking business podcast from the Wharton School, created in collaboration with Accenture, that explores the real-world impact of artificial intelligence on business strategy, operations, and innovation. Each season features a different Wharton faculty host, providing a fresh lens on AI’s evolving role across industries.

Business Objective

Wharton and Accenture set out to create a podcast that would ground abstract discussions of artificial intelligence in real-world application — spotlighting not only the technology, but the business decisions and leadership required to harness it.

In Season 1, Professor Kartik Hosanagar led a series focused on AI in marketing, unpacking the tools and techniques — like social listening, creative automation, and programmatic advertising — that are transforming customer engagement and decision-making.

The Solution

JAR collaborated with the Wharton School and Accenture to bring Season 1 of Where AI Works to life, combining strategic storytelling with high-end production.

We helped shape the editorial direction and thematic arc of the season, working closely with Wharton’s academic team to align each episode with core learning objectives. From there, we guided guest selection to strike a balance between scholarly credibility and frontline innovation — featuring marketing leaders from global brands and top tech firms.

Our team led all aspects of production, including scripting, remote recording, sound design, editing, and mixing. The final product not only met Wharton and Accenture’s creative standards, but also upheld their reputations for thought leadership in business and technology.

To support ongoing impact, we delivered detailed analytics and listener insights, helping the team understand audience engagement and refine future content strategy.
