Reem Elmaghraby

Reem is an award-winning producer who’s passionate about using creative mediums such as audio, writing, and art to tell stories that leave an impact. She received a Multimedia Journalism BA from the American University in Cairo (AUC) and fell in love with audio journalism and digital storytelling while creating her first audio feature; “An Educational Journey: From Qena to Cairo” which won an award from the Broadcast Education Association (BEA) and another from the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ).

Upon graduating, she taught audio courses as a teaching assistant at AUC and worked as an associate producer for the Food Series of the award-winning podcast Ehky Ya Masr (Tell your story Egypt). Reem loves working with people to bring their story to life through audio, but when she’s not working on (or listening to) podcasts, you can find her channeling her creativity by writing stories and poems and playing story-driven video games.
